She graduated from Chester High School in 2011, immediately after attended Bloomsburg University. She went intending to be a social work major and was completely content with getting a local job after graduation to fill her desire to help disadvantaged people.
After almost 3 years at Bloomsburg University Crystal called it quits. She no longer felt fulfilled in her career choice or in her life. On that same exact day she decided to take a different route in her life she also sat in a hospital waiting room, her mother was dying and by the end of that day her mother had passed away. Summer 2013 Crystal returned to Chester, PA with no plan feeling very hopeless.
One thing she noticed while at Bloomsburg University was the negative stereotype people really had about Chester especially its music scene. Those same artist inspired Crystal to create The Missing Plug; a website for underground artist in Chester, PA. She felt that they had powerful stories to tell through their music that could actually heal people. With her skills and experience in writing, public speaking and customer service she felt it was her duty to present this special talent to the world. This was the start of everything that made sense to her. She started writing articles on her website and doing interviews with local artist in her area.
